The Rollin Dough - Sunshine, Melbourne
06/05/2017

Well if there's one type of food I can't wait to give my 3 month old girl to try, it's pizza! (I'm joking...or am I?) It's a Friday night and time for another Dad-venture.
Rollin Dough is a pretty unique pizza shop. The menu is extensive and appetising, the staff are just 'on it' and customers are constantly in and out.
The "old skool" pizza was pretty great. The prawns worked well with the pineapple and olives, however there was a tad too much oregano (yes I pronounce it or-egg-a-noh) which overpowered the other toppings.
The garlic and prawn pizza was also quite tasty but there were clumps of tomato base which sort of killed it for me. The bases on both pizzas were slightly undercooked and doughy too. The garlic bread was a bit bland also but I wasn't really expecting too much there.
I'll definitely be back to try more pizza at Rollin Dough and look forward to working my way through the menu.
Update: I have been back to Rollin Dough twice since the above review and I am happy to say the pizza has improved ten-fold. On both occasions the place was teeming with people and most importantly the pizza was crazy good.
My verdict: WORTH IT for large pizza under $14.90.
Follow me on Zomato and shoot me an email if YOU would like to join me on a Dad-venture. I've had heaps of requests so thanks to everyone that follows my page.
